On November 26, 2024, LessonLab had the privilege of co-hosting an inspiring hybrid workshop with our partner, the School of Project Management at the University of Sydney. This event marked the launch of Taito Stakeholder, our latest product built with our Taito platform, designed to revolutionize how stakeholder engagement and management process can be learned.

Taito Stakeholder

The workshop included a demonstration of our latest product, Taito Stakeholder, developed on our Taito platform in collaboration with our partner, the University of Oulu. What sets Taito Stakeholder apart is its foundation on a real-life case study of a pulp mill project with a challenging stakeholder environment. The simulation encompasses all the main phases of a typical stakeholder management process, from stakeholder identification to stakeholder engagement, creating a comprehensive AI-driven Case Method for teaching and learning stakeholder management in practice.

With this dynamic simulation, learners can practice key concepts and tools of stakeholder management and practice influencing stakeholders through a thoroughly researched case simulation. Learners receive personalized feedback on their performance and actionable tips for developing their skills and competence further, offering a truly individualized learning experience. For instructors, it provides a unique case-based teaching method that is immune to shortcuts or cheating with tools like ChatGPT.

Prototypes built in record time

As part of the workshop, participants had the opportunity to create their own prototypes using the Taito platform. One of the most exciting outcomes was their success in developing functional simulation prototypes in just two hours. The prototypes included:

  • Stakeholder Engagement Simulation: Users engaged in discussions with both proponent and opponent stakeholders of an infrastructure project. They were tasked with proposing a balanced solution that satisfied both groups. AI-based feedback provided insights into the effectiveness of their approach.
  • Project Execution to Asset Operations Simulation: Participants analyzed a case study focused on the transition from project execution to operations. They developed and proposed implementation strategies, receiving feedback through an AI sparring partner to refine their solutions.
  • Risk Management Simulation: This scenario required users to evaluate a megaproject, perform a comprehensive risk identification and analysis, and prioritize mitigation strategies. AI-based feedback highlighted key areas for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Communication Simulation: Participants practiced communicating with diverse stakeholders through various media channels, aiming to address their unique concerns effectively. AI feedback assessed the clarity, tone, and impact of their communication strategies.

These prototypes showcased the platform’s different features, enabling users to model complex scenarios and interactions without prior programming experience. The results were a testament to the platform’s user-friendliness and potential in fostering rapid development of new educational tools.

Collaborative energy and diverse perspectives

The event was enriched by the presence of attendees from the University of Technology Sydney, who brought valuable perspectives to the discussions and group activities. The collaboration between institutions highlighted the growing interest in integrating AI-driven tools like Taito platform into educational environments.

Looking ahead

The enthusiasm and creativity displayed during the workshop reaffirmed our commitment to pushing the boundaries of AI-driven education. We believe that Taito platform represents the next step in empowering educators and professionals to develop innovative solutions for simulating and practicing their unique challenges. We are excited to see how the prototypes developed during this session evolve and inspire further applications.
